Hi,

Moving to Switzerland early next year. Will be working fairly close to Zurich Airport (about 10 min walk), and need some acommodation fairly close to that. Please help with some questions:

1. Can anyone recommend a safe "family" area close by - I have two young children and a wife who loves to take walks. I will also have to walk back in the evenings from work... so looking for a reasonable apartment - dont mind 2 bed - children are young so can share. Funds will be tight also!
2. Would rather live in a very upmarket area, and sacrifice on the size of the apartment if you know what I mean... how much should I expect to pay monthly for both furnished and unfurnished? I may only be in Switzerland for a year so I am thinking that the latter is a better bet for now.
3. What deposit is standard?
4. Term of lease required?
5. Should I be looking elsewhere - not so close to the airport, and rather commute a little?

www.rail.ch and look at what's well-served by rail. Also take into consideration that working and living might have to be in the same Kanton for you (with your dodgy passport and all that!! )
