We're moving there in March and we don't know a soul. I've heard there's a few ex-pats in the area but I wonder if any of them post here?

Not living there unfortunately but e got married there few months ago and it is really a beautyful region!!!

Vevey is very close by and there for sure you will have quite a few expats out of Nestle. Lausanne is also pretty close :-)

Just living in the mountains near there, but we are thinking of moving to vevey/Montreux area.I think Chardonne has a lot of English speakers.

We moved to Chardonne 3 months ago from UK...so far we're loving Switzerland !!! Would be good to hear from any other english speaking mums in the area...

My partner and I live in Montreux... and there are tons of English speakers here... he works for Nestle and needless to say, Vevey is also packed with Brits.

We often drive through Chardonne, as it's such a beautiful town.

Perhaps you should pop along to the Lausanne Social which is held every other Thursday... you are bound to meet other locals. (sorry, cant find the thread to attach here!)
