Has anyone managed to get an english size king size mattress in switerland - I have seen a company called worldwide beds that seem to have a showroom in ch but by appointgment only - has anyone used them. We have a lovely UK handmade pine bed but really need a new mattress. Are we going to just have to buy a whole new bed etc.....?

We got ours from Conforama but I think lots of mattress shops/ furniture shops have them. They may have to order them as they possibly don't keep them in stock but they certainly offer it as a size option.

looks like you need a size 200 x 150 ? or is it a super king size 200 x 180 ?

you need to measure the bed size in centimeters, (There are no Kings or Queens here, it's a confederation!)

We had no problems finding a replacement UK size mattress in Medflex (here in Lausanne, but I think they have other branches). We bought the mattress 2.5 years ago, and were happy with the service.

Bought one (their own brand) from John Lewis Oxford Street. If I recall it was about GPB 150 to ship, but we saved much of that on the price (certainly compared to CH) and the VAT and got one that was much thicker/heavier than seems to be standard over here.
