Hi ! I was wondering if someone could give me some advice. We are going to be moving to Basel in August and from the distance, we are trying to figure out where to live, considering we have 2 small children( preschool age). I was once in Basel and I liked very much the area along the river and also those old town houses in the older part of the city. Are those nice areas to live ??? Good with kids ? Any other areas tha would be nice ? How about rent ? What can we expect to pay for a 3-4 bedroom place ( hopefully with some kind of patio or garden ? )

We are thinking of renting a furnished place.
