I want to rent a Chalet for a whole year. Anyone can help me?

HEllo.

We want to rent a chalet, or Ferien Wohnung for a whole year in the Graubunden. But I can't find any place for long term rents.

Any idea? Any tips? Anyone use to rent a chalet this way?

Thanks a lot¡¡

Have you had any luck finding a chalet for a year? I'm going to start looking into the same thing soon - if I have any leads, I'll let you know.

Try www.homegate.ch - there's a holiday rentals section on there, might have something

Depending on where you're wanting to have the rental, you might find some information on the website of the community's website. For example, the place we visit in Graubunden, Vals, has an extensive list of holiday rentals that are not found in homegate.

I'd suggest contacting a few places directly and seeing if they might be open to renting a place out for a year. You're most likely to find this in an apartment building with a few apartments (rather than a single flat available) , as many folks renting out have guests that will have weekends reserved years in advance.

Most of the rental listing sites are for short rentals, but an interesting option would be to try the Forum at Snowheads.com (for ski fanatics). They have a chalet and apartment section, and if you list there you should get some interesting offers.
