Moving from Spain to Switzerland (Good Movers?)

Hello everyone.
I will be moving from Spain (Madrid) to Switzerland (Vaud) in a couple of months. The company I will be working for will pay for it, I only have to give 2 quotes for them to decide which one I'be using
It would be important for me to know how the moving process worked out for some of you who had to go through a similar situation. It's just me and my wife, and we live in a medium-sized 2-bedrooms apartment (furniture is all ours except the kitchen) so we don't have tons of stuff to bring with us.

- ¿What moving company would you recommend for this inter-european move?
- ¿Any advice or suggestion regarding the moving process?

Thank you very much in advance.

Moving process is relatively simple. Any international moving company should be able to help you with the declaration of the things. But rule is that you can bring anything withyou without paying any import taxes.

One thing that I could suggest you is if you plan to purchase any furniture when you arrive to Switzerland, check if you can find anything that you want in Spain. Furniture here is quite expensive, so compare prices and if you find a better deal in Spain, buy it.
Especially since company is paying for the move. This mean that you could save great deal of money in this way.
Actually you could do same comparison for all the things that you need when you get here. You can check prices for most of the shops online.

I used packimpex to move from Copenhagen to Zurich.
Untill now I have only had experience with their Danish agent that packed my stuff and the Swiss agent handeling customs, but all have been very helpfull.

I am sure that once i have found a permanent appartment and have my furniture delivered I will be very happy with that also.
