Hi all,

I was just wondering if any of you who have built a house in Switzerland before or who have had work done on theirs would have any recommendations for who you used around the Zurich area. We are building at the south end of the lake past Raperswil and would be interested in any recommendations you have for:

Builders
Carpenters
Tilers
Plumbers
Gibsers
General labourers
Gardeners
Landscapers
etc...

Please also include why you liked them as it would help us decide which ones we would like to work with or not. Or if you know of any companies/individuals you have worked with that you really wouldn't recommend ever again can you let us know as well so we don't fall into the same trap? ;-)

The future Chez Eire is being built by Trümpi and they seem to be great. While its the architect that is dealing with all the building (bought off plans) they are keeping a really good time schedule and I have never in my life seen a tidier building site run so close to the time schedule that was first given.
