Moving -floor protection

Does anyone know in the Zurich area where I can purchase / order some kind of protective covering for new wooden floors to protect them during a move?

I was thinking of something like those rolls of cardboard or this:

Does anyone else have some other ideas?
I have put down dust sheets before but these are really slippery underfoot when placed on top of wooden flooring.

Thanks

Re: Moving -floor protection

I don't have a better idea to add in but just to share with you my experience about wooden floor protection during move....

We did it through a professional moving company and before then, we didn't protect the floor at all. After they had done off loading and fixing all furniture, there wasn't any scratch on the floor EXCEPT our guest room (which is full of scratch ). We figured out that it's because they assemble a metal shelf there and the iron rod keep knocking on the floor. The marks were very deep. I don't think it would be avoided with the protection sheet you list in the website.

So my key message is, if you have any shelves or moving items which are made of metal (with assembling pieces), you might need to put really thick protection layer on the floor.

Thanks for the reply - I know of other people whose floors have suffered due to metal furniture bits (some Ikea bed frames have wonderfully sharp internal brackets).
The covering would just be for the walkways to protect the floors from the constant traffic of carrying boxes from outdoors to in. I would use something thicker underfoot for assembling furniture.

But the are in the U.K....

I thought that the delivery costs might be quite a lot but I guess I ought to ask them.

I did - 20 quid for shipping. But that includes shipping for the packing paper that I requested here: Packing Paper for moving in Zurich area

If you are using a professional moving company, they are going to be quite fussy about what is placed on the floor as anything that is slippery or not firmly in place will be dangerous.

I would recommend cardboard boxes, they would be thick and heavy and won't slip much and get strong tape to join them together. Get the biggest size you can so there are fewer spaces. Cardboard on rolls will cost more and may not be as thick.
