Temporary accommodation in the Zug area?...

Hi, we are moving to Zug at the end of September. My husband, 1-year old daughter and I are trading sunny Bermuda beaches for some snowy mountains!

Could anybody please recommend a place where we could stay for the month of October, until we find a place to live around Zug?

I have searched homegate but what we really need is a sort of furnished executive accommodation that we can leave on short notice.

Thanks!

We stayed in the Kingbow Hotel in Cham (a few minutes down the road from Zug) for a couple of months which is designed for this sort of thing and was fine for what it was:

Re: Temporary accommodation in the Zug area?...

For anyone interested in a short let in the Zug area .....

We are the tenants of a fully furnished modern loft apartment in Walchwil in the canton of Zug until October 5. It has one bathroom, 3 bedrooms, open plan living area and balcony with stunning views to Mt Rigi and overlooking the lake. At the back of the apartment is a paved area with views to the hills behind. The apartment about 10 mins walk to Walchwil bahnhof and bus stop. Great walk if you want to improve your fitness! It is also fully furnished with coffee machine, large plasma tv, internet access, heater, piano, sheets, towels, pillows ... everything down to the last teaspoon!
It is renting for CHF 5,500 per month which we feel is reasonable considering what a hotel would cost.

The flat has been ideal for us until we found a more permanent residence and fortunately we found a 4 bedroom apartment in Cham. We will be sad to leave here on October 5 as the owners who live downstairs have been so friendly and helpful. Living here has been a wonderful introduction to Switzerland!

If you are interested in renting on a temporary basis (as this is what the owners prefer) please email me and I will forward on your email to the owners. My email is narelleinoz@gmail.com

Regards Narelle
