Does anybody have recommendations for a Glazier/Carpenter in the Basel area?

My housesitter didn't do the best job in the world and now I have a broken window (the inside pane of a DG unit) and a broken door (bottom broken where the bolts for the hinge should go).

I'm not sure you'd be the one to replace the windows if you are renting.

Earlier this year, I had a small fire in the kitchen when I was at work, and the fire department had to break into my apartment by breaking the glass on the balcony door. The building's caretaker told me to contact the landlord, and they sent out some people to fix it for me. It was covered under the landlord's insurance. I never received a bill for the work (and that was back in February).

Your situation is a bit different from mine, but it would be worth checking it out if it is covered by the landlord/building owner's insurance.
