Help!

My house has bees who have nested under the roof and are coming into the house (angry!), and my landlady is an idiot - she doesn't understand that this calls for a professional who can bomb under the roof.

According to my dictionary, exterminator = exterminateur, but there is nothing listed in my yellow pages. How do I find an exterminator?

Call the fire department, they'll take care of it.

Is this a privately-owned home, or is there an estate agent you can contact? If not, you may want first to send your landlady a registered letter stating your case, so that things are clear.

To find an exterminator, try "insect protection" in the yellow pages.

I cant help with bees unfortunately, but I used to offer a pest control service to people who were plaques by rabbits, rats, squirrels and pigeons!

Have seen this company advertised on the back of buses around Lausanne. The website talks about removal of wasps nests, I guess it would be pretty similar for bees... ??

I once heard of someone who contacted a local bee keeper who came and took away some bees from their house (and offered some honey in exchange!)

Bees are protected. Wasps can be exterminated. Contact your communal office for assistance.

I've used him before for ants and hornets and he covers a very wide area. Where I live, which is further away from Vevey than Lutry, the fire department won't help anymore and our Commune has told us all to call Jaquet for all insect problems. He knows what he's doing and his blurb says he deals with bee problems.

My neighbours had the same problem and they called the fire service and they came and solved the problem

I had a similiar problem which was taken care of by the fire dept. They put some kind of powder under the eaves and the problem was resolved.

"exterminateur" is not really used.. i had a bed bug problem, and it's with "désinsectisation" that i could find some agencies for help...

if you google it, you'll find 4-5 results that may be helpful..
local.ch may be useful as well..
