It seems that I put soap in the salt dispenser in the dishwasher and now it isnt working properly. (I think something is clogged, it is draining slowly and it seems like not much water is getting in)

Does anyone have any idea how I can fix this ?

Get a dishwasher repair person to come and look at it maybe?

Yes, I stupidly did this and had to get a dishwasher repair man out, cost me chf620 to replace the water treatment unit, however I did try to keep running the machine before I eventually called the guy - so don't run it anymore and maybe they'll be able to fix it before it's totally ruined.

Sounds like you clogged the water inlet and may need a new pump.

If you are renting, call the landlord, but don't tell him what you did or you'll get stuck with the bill.
If the machine is under 2 years, it may be under warranty.
