Hello

I am looking for feedback from anyone that has moved to Switzerland with their dogs and rented accomodation. How difficult did you find it to find dog friendly accomodation and what areas would you suggest we look at if we will be working in Zurich but willing to travel in via train (up to 40 minutes) from an outside country type area that has houses to rent at around CH3000 p/m.

Most Landlords accommodate pets especially if you are renting a house. From places like Wetzikon that is 20 min from Zürich HB has some very good dog walking areas, but if you want to bus in to this station then Zuri oberland is perfect. One point I did find with flying our dog to Zürich was they have no pet reception area, Your dog comes in with all the normal freight then the dog sits in its create until you collect it. NOT IDEAL

Hi! I think the more out of Zurich you go, the greater choice you have for accomodation with your pets.We are moving to Mannedorf to a great(modern,excellently finished) flat that allows pets- I love the area with its fields, forest nearby and great views and flats within your preffered budget and commuting distance to Zurich.
