Hello, I just found out that our temporary place will only be 22 sq. meters! I still can't believe that, and we have to pay 350+ CHF/week for that! They said it was a LOT cheaper than getting a hotel, but still.....I guess I shouldn't compare with things here in the states since that won't get me anywhere but just wanted to steam off a bit...

Anyways, I am looking for apartments on homegate.ch, but don't know what the neighborhoods are like and where is good/bad. My husband will be working in Baden/Dattweil (sp?) area but we want to live in a lively place where we can socialize, but not directly in city life. We don't have children, so no worries about schools yet. I might be going back to school in Zurich or finding a job near Basel.

Where would someone recommend for us where it is relatively low taxes and not too high in prices. We are looking for something like a 100 sq. meter place for around 1600 CHF. Thanks!
