Hello, thought it'd be worth adding my experience from France Removals, whom I used in January to move from London to Zurich. They were a pretty bare-bones operation, so don't expect any great frills, but they were really friendly, willing to be flexible around my schedule, and delivered on time with nothing lost/broken (at least that I've noticed, as some things still in the loft waiting to be unpacked!) -- and they had a really competitive price. Oh, and they also did a good job handling the relevant paperwork for entry. So if those are your buying criteria, I'd definitely recommend then.

(ps, after much umming and ahhing, i didn't take any specific extra insurance, beyond the basic option offered with france removals. But then I didn't move anything of incredible value over...)

My experience with Abel's is going downhill rapidly - after an initial favourable start, they seem to have managed to lose three of my boxes and are not being very speedy (over 2 months now) about finding them or indeed coming up with a solution ...

We have just had our belongings delivered from the UK and used Pearsons Home Moving. They were fantastic. Friendly from the first point of contact, nothing was too much trouble, fast and efficient.

They came and packed our belongings in the UK, stored them for 3 month for us and delivered and unpacked in CH. We visited the storage site and it is incredibly safe...great to know when all your worldly belongings are bieng left there!

We recieved several quotes, as requested by the comapnies accounts department, and Pearsons were by far the cheapest. They also do weekly deliveries and collections from here.
