I am from Sweden (29 years old, woman). I just got a job in Zurich and need to start as of August 1.

I am looking for place to live. For a start I had in mind something simple, a small apartment or room in shared flat with rent up to 1000 CHF.

In the long run, I would like to buy a flat (I believe that it is better solution).

Any advices?

'If' you don't speak German, then here are a few helpful words:

To Rent: Mieten
To Buy: Kaufen

Apartment: Wohnung
House: Haus

Flat Share: Wohngemeinschaft
Rooms: Zimmer
