Ideas for a weekend place

Up until now, I sublet a room in Zurich from a friend for weekends but she's now moved and I need to find a new place.

I was wondering what options are available. I thought of getting hotel rooms as required but would really like to get something which has kitchen so I can entertain.

Anyone know of hotels which have a decent kitchen or know of apartments which can be rented on a day (or weekend) basis?
