bathroom tile

Hello all

I'm just wondering if I did this the correct way....

I moved into my apartment at the beginning of September and my bathroom and kitchen were newly renovated. About a month ago, I found two cracks on one tile in the bathroom (on the wall) - the tiles are white so they are hardly visible but I am pretty sure the cracks were not there earlier.

As I assumed there is a warranty on a 'newly' installed bathroom I informed the agency so that they could decide whether to change the tile or not. I got a call today from the agency as apparently the owner has told them to get the tile repaired and she wanted to know if I had spare tiles in the apartment (which I don't).

My query is basically if I did the right thing reporting it and whether I will be asked to pay for the replacement tile? I hope not....

Thank you for your input!
