My baby is coming around end of Jan, 2011 and I am planning to buy the basic insurance for her.

Concerning to the reinbursement and premium, etc, can anybody recommend some insurance company which has office in Lausanne?

My son and I are at Assura: they are among (if not the) cheapest, and we are happy with their services. Reimbursements are quick (about 2 weeks ususally). In Lausanne, if I remember correctly a child will pay 71.-/month next year.

For my baby due in May next year, they sent us an offer with a package of usueful complementary insurances for a very very affordable price, much cheaper than if you take them as an adult.

I only found the company's location in Pully at Lausanne. Do you by chance knowing that if Assura also has an office near the center of lausanne?

Groupe Mutuel have offices in Lausanne - one is just below the train station and the other is somewhere near the CHUV.

If you're interested in the basic insurance only (i.e. no supplementary) then it really doesn't matter who you go with in terms of cover as this has to (by law) remain strictly identical between companies.

The Assura office in Pully is their head office, they don't have a satellite in the centre of Lausanne.
