I recently purchased my new glasses here in Switzerland and they gave me a receipt for my Health Insurance too. My Health insurance is Atupri (HMO), btw.

What am I supposed to do now? Do I need to write some special letter, just send the receipt to Atupri, or what? And if so, should I do that within the end of the year or within some other specific date?

I only moved here very recently and I am still unfamiliar with the whole Health insurance/Krankenkasse process so I could use some help. Thanks in advance.

Send the copy of the bill to Atupri, with perhaps a note telling them your insurance policy number and address / date of birth etc. You can even scrawl this on the bill itself. They will reimburse you pretty quickly, but only to the amount agreed in your policy - not the full whack. If you don't know where to send it, give 'em a call. They're very efficient.
