Someone recently told me that when getting your skis serviced you must always keep the receipt which proves that the skis have been maintained. In the event of an accident the insurance company could ask you for it, and if you can't provide it, it could cause problems and/or void your insurance.
Does anyone know if this is true? Any experiences?
What I did notice today when I picked up my skis from service was that they (deliberately?) avoided giving me a receipt.

Hmmm. Think I will go back and ask them for it tomorrow.
