Assura Optima

Hello,
We just got notice that Assura is increasing the cost for their Optima package, and we are now considering to cancel it. The problem is that we have never so far used it.
What i understand is that the biggest benefit is the option of having a private room, and having a choice of going to a private hospital.

Does anyone have any experience with the Optima package? Considering that this is Switzwrland, how big is really a difference between a private and public hospital?

Thank you
