I need a hand on insurance matter!

Hello to all.I ve been in the country for 6 months where my boss was paying my insurance.In decemper we finished the contract and i willbe out of the country for 2 months and get back in february with a new contract.I dont wish to pay this company and have a new one in february,is that possible?should i inform them that i am out of the country?is this going to effect my permit?

What kind of insurance are you referring to?

You have to officially leave CH permanently. So get your permit cancelled & re apply

Well at the community office said that i have a six month period and since i will be back with a new job contract i dont have to cancel my permit.And i am reffering to the mandatory health and accident insurance.Thanks for your replies

That's correct however you have to pay your insurance, the insurance company is liable for 3 months after you leave unless you can prove health cover in your new country of residence. If you retain a permit CH is your country of residence

If you're talking about cancelling your health insurance then no, you can't do it. a) iirc you're outside the cancellation/change insurer period which is the end of November each year and b) even if you're out of the country if you're travelling in the EU/EFTA your Swiss health insurance covers you for emergency treatment while abroad.
