Re: Mystery insurance card

That sounds very strange. Definitely call and ask, since they are big, you might be able to get someone to speak English too.

Re: Mystery insurance card

You mean it was just lying there - or it came in an envelope? Is it credit card sized with a pretty picture on it and an account number and name? If so it what Helsana issues to its customers.

It is possible they or the Post muddled you up with another kkrish - a common enough name hereabouts...

Re: Mystery insurance card

If you don't demonstrate that you have health insurance within three months of arriving in Switzerland, the authorities select a company to open one for you. That isn't the cheapest. By coincidence the company they chose when it happened to me was Helsana ...so.....?

Is it possible that it is for your accident insurance at work. I have a card for my health insurance and one from Helsana for my employer's accident insurance.....
