Travel Insurance

Hi, was just printing conformation of flight this weekend back to UK for Christmas and noted that Easyjet were unable to confirm the Travel Insurance I had requested, they suggest contacting them direct but after several attempts to get through, I wondered if anyone can suggest anyone they use for Travel policy that I can call and arrange today.

Re: Travel Insurance

We have taken out travel insurance from TCS (livret ETI) - it costs 103 CHF for a family and 75 CHF for individual for a year! We haven't had to claim or anything so don't know how "good" it is, but it seems to be pretty comprehensive and the holiday company we booked with willingly accepted this insurance as an alternative to the standard (compulsory) one offered by them.

Re: Travel Insurance

Problem is you never know how good they are until you have to make a claim. It won't help you today but I know the Post Office does travel insurance.

Re: Travel Insurance

If you have a UBS credit card, you can get pretty good travel insurance for about 70CHF a year. The only stipulation is that at least half of your trip (flights/hotels etc..) needs to be paid using the card.

We made a claim on the TCS insurance and it went well. My sister and her family were in the US on vacation and my brother-in-law got a baf head cold which would have prevented him from flying. The TCS looked after changing flights and all the extra charges. So, I would give them a

Elvia are also quite popular in Switzerland.
