For clarification purposes: I'm looking for a pure risk, no investment, life insurance policy.
Any experiences with PostFinance from DiePost life insurance?
Ok, so I went for Zurich Life Insurance.
Wrong decision, really wrong.
Today I sent this email to those guys:
Hi XYZ, ABC,
So you decide to send me a letter saying that I haven't paid my life insurance hmmm?
Let me explain you my calvary with your funny company:
1) I contact your Winterthur agent for my life insurance, great guy, DEF.
2) DEF prepares a proposal, I pass my medical exams and send them to you (here ends my good experience w/your company).
3) You take ages to approve it (who knows why), you send me back the original proposal 3 times because you were missing some info, each time a different piece of info. Every time originals coming and going, as if faxes, email and scan machines were inexistent.
4) You send a my life insurance policy, the wrong one, a smoker insurance policy with the wrong payment slip. (my medical examination confirmed that I am a non-smoker just in case you have a doubt).
5) I send back to you the policy (you wouldn't issue a new one until you received the old one because there might be the possibility that I die in the transition and my family could collect the money from two different policies). At this point, your company hit the top marks: Incompetent and miserable.
6) Finally you send the correct policy and the correct slip.
7) I PAY THE SLIP !!! Understand? Capisce? Verstanden? IT IS PAID!!
8) I receive your funny request to pay the old slip, the wrong one.
9) I wonder why on Earth I took insurance with your company.
There are two ways out of here:
1) An apology in writing for being so utterly useless at what you do + confirmation that you have on record my life insurance policy and that it is valid.
2) You cover me until I change insurance company and I get a full refund from you. (I should really charge you for all the hours I have put on this client-supplier relationship).
