move to zurich, health insurance went from 150 to 250 monthly. is this normal?

i moved from zug to zurich and notified swica. was surprised to see the bill go up that much. think i should call and ask for an explanation or is this simply because it's more expensive to be insured in zurich?

yes it varies from canton to canton so it isn very likey. Just as a reference I pay 194 (myself for insurance) in FR

with 150 i guess you have the basic insurance, the basic insurance for ZH can be had for 142 thru sanagate. 100chf increase is taking the piss

It does not depend on the Kanton where you live, it depends in which district.
