Good news for common sense?

Obviously a sensitive topic, what are the views here on EF? A sensible decision for the sake of womens' choice or an affront to the rights of the unborn? Is this a triumph of politics over religion or a travesty of justice?

To avoid confusion, my own view is that the ethical questions involved should not be clouded by a biased religious viewpoint, a humanist approach makes more sense.
