I was planning to take my sister-in-law to Freiburg ( Germany)this Saturday for some fabulous ice cream bechers (Germans are superior to the French in this dept), but now I have to change plans since it'll be a zoo. http://www.thelocal.de/national/20110412-34345.html

Freiburg is not the same as Fribourg/Freiburg. His Eminence is having his ice-cream in the German one. For the Swiss one, Bertherin or Glace Artisanale will see you right for ice cream.
