This reflects the political maturity of an 8-year old.

No matter what one may think about the SVP, the offense is called wanton property damage (or so I think).

I'm just fed up with all the posters no matter which party. I really do not think slapping hundreds of posters of some ugly mug will convince someone to vote or vote for a person.

If it was the early thirties in Munich and this was a poster for a fancy new socialist people's party would it also be wanton propety damage or excusable? What's it like to be Albanian in Switzerland? I don't know. Do you?

No, but I don't know how it would have helped the War effort to criticise or prosecute people who defaced the posters of the greatest evil the world has ever known.

You mean as in drawing a toothbush moustache on a guy who already has one? And in calling a man a Nazi who calls himself a Nazi? I'm sure that would have caused a lot of people to change their views.

Do you actually have any evidence that defacing posters causes people not to vote for the person?

Especially if it's a party that perpetually claims to be the underdog? Are you sure you're not doing them a favour by proving their point.

Anyway, OP are you sure that these posters have been defaced and that you're not actually looking at the original, as they attempt to consolidate the Nazi vote?

But the policies of the SVP are really similar to the Nazi party. I don't think the thread is about graffiti but that the graffiti is bang on.

If many pictures had been defaced then discussing why someone would feel strongly enough to deface them would be a valid topic of conversation, yes. It could also attract other bitches to the faith.

Nazi is an evocative term. I'm not sure it applies to the SVP, odious as they are.
