A young rioter from Wandsworth south London was given a 11 months prison after stealing from a Curry's shop. The young man and his mother & sister were given notice to leave their government owned housing. After an appearance in a London court his mother & sister have been allowed to remain in her rented apartment provided she keeps to the tenancy agreement.
Under the terms of the agreement, which applies to all the council's rented accommodation, all tenants, their household members and visitors are forbidden from a range of criminal and anti-social activities.
