Mother of young criminal can keep her apartment

A young rioter from Wandsworth south London was given a 11 months prison after stealing from a Curry's shop. The young man and his mother & sister were given notice to leave their government owned housing. After an appearance in a London court his mother & sister have been allowed to remain in her rented apartment provided she keeps to the tenancy agreement.

Under the terms of the agreement, which applies to all the council's rented accommodation, all tenants, their household members and visitors are forbidden from a range of criminal and anti-social activities. Breaches of the agreement render them liable to eviction.

Re: Mother of young criminal can keep her apartment

I admit I don't have time now to read the link, but the thought of a parent being made homeless because of a wayward child is just wrong.
