I discovered the excellent Bill Maher's show on HBO this weekend. After some fine explanations of what atheism is and is not, Bill dons a Harry Potter hat to unbaptize Mitt Romney's dead father-in-law. He was an atheist who was baptized into the Mormon faith a year after his death. Brilliant, IMHO.

One of my favorite Maher segments in a while. And good on him for addressing the "atheism is a religion, too" red herring one's often faced with in discussions.

That's the Mormons for you. Anything to increase their church membership numbers to make them look good. I would have hoped the son would have at least respected his father's beliefs/non beliefs, even if he didn't agree with them, but obviously not.

Would he get my vote? Not a chance.
