I was looking at the photo in the link. The hair (Adele's that is) doesn't help.
(Not that mine is any better.)

I think your poll is missing the "Not relevant" or "Who cares?" option.
I'm not sure any of those choices are important to a musician who sells well over 22 million units.
Besides she has a prettier face than most of the twigs that lip sink to horrible music on MTV these days....

It was supposed to be a joke
Anyway I always thought that guys that put no-fat-chicks bumper stickers on their cars is because they have some sort of suspension springs problems

for men, money and height.
that's reality, so i guess we just have to deal with it.

Now back to Adele and that lovely bloke Lagerfeld. |

Many do aspire to the "waif" look even though their body types are clearly not cut out for it and will all but starve themselves to achieve it if they have to. I've heard women boasting about how they only eat one lettuce leaf a day or something equally ridiculous and think they are fit and healthy. They don't view being referred to as having "waif" like figures as a negative at all but rather something to be applauded and which is reinforced 24/7/365 in magazines, on the television, poster billboards, films, newspapers - you name it - it's everywhere.
NB: There are people who are naturally that thin - regardless of whether they eat copious amounts and/or exercise or not - so my comments are not directed at them as that is just the way they are. | Quote: | | | | | for women it's looks and maybe boob size.

that's reality, so i guess we just have to deal with it. | | | | | Thankfully it's not my "reality" which thus renders my having "to deal with it" as an irrelevancy.

Could you add an option for "I couldn't give a monkey's chuff" to the list of possible answers?
Cheers,

Cheers,
Nick | | | | | But what is a monkey's chuff exactly? Whatever it is, I like it and I'm certainly using that expression at the soonest possible opportunity.
Anyway I couldnt give a monkey's chuff about anything Karl Legerfeld says. Adele's voice makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up and I don't give a monkey's chuff what she looks like! Peace.

A lot of these self-appointed gurus on female aesthetics such as Karl Lagerfeld would not recognize beauty as a reflection of a beautiful soul even if it hit them over the head.

Fat people pray at her alter. Some of them were really hurt when she lost couple of kilos. Lana Del Ray on the other hand looks and sings better. Has a nice smile and is not common. Phil I hope you don't use this thread to make fat people jokes.
Fact: The inspiration for all Adele sad sappy breakup songs came not from any man, but from the closing of her favourite doughnut shop.
Phil will you go out with me?

Adele anoys me, her songs only have one subject and they sound far too whingy to me.
I don't care about her weight but some exorsize maybe would make her a bit happier...
An Lana del Rey anoys me even more. Stand up straight, girl!!!

That's because being skinny is a societal ideal whilst being overweight is not. So being called a twig will never be on par with being called fat. In fact, some will take it as a compliment (not all, of course, but I certainly used to and know many others who have) but how many girls take being called "fat" a compliment?

If she was able to hide her pregnancy until she was two months due....sorry but you can only do that if you are fat. I don't think people care though that she is fat. (I don't) I think its the susan boyle effect, people are so conditioned nowadays to Britney Spears/Miley Cyrus female singers that when all of a sudden susan or adele come on stage...its a wake up call to people I guess....stop being superficial!!
