It would be nice to live in a day and age where a woman's value wasn't determined by her physical appearance. Guess we're not there yet.

Fat as in "too fat for me to fancy" or "affecting her health" or "fatter than the average woman"?

It seems to me that people are buying her records despite Phil_MCR's poll on this subject.

I love Adele's music and voice. Full. Stop. Period. When I look at her I just see a particularly gifted and beautiful songstress with a voice to match. No. More. No. Less...

As for Lagerfeld, I particularly enjoyed and laughed out loud at this comment by a poster on the discussion thread in the article link: " Karl's face is the sum of all fashion. Soulless and empty, and gateways to the true depths of human hell. " So. Apt. And. So. True...

But as a women it is exhausting to be constantly reminded that this is how we are first evaluated and to have to live with that reality. It would be like starting threads on if a man is too bald, or too short, or too hairy, or too whatever, except for men it would probably be more about if he has a big enough c - ar, house, paycheck, etc because that is what our society says makes men valuable. Then do that over and over for a lifetime, and it's just nuts. We're people, not shells, and it's demeaning.

Is she fat? yes. Is that necessarily a bad thing? Of course not.

There are millions of people in the world who find bigger as much more beautiful. If Adele is happy with her appearance, then all is good. If she isn't, she has two choices: work out her psychological problems with body image, or watch what she eats and exercise. That's about it.

She has the body type I prefer.

As ever, the option I'd want doesn't appear in the poll, namely: "Who the hell's Adele, and why should I care if someone calls her fat?".

I don't quite understand what a Poll is.

Yep, she's fat. She's beautiful, inside and out. "Recent" months she'd lost some weight, there are some stunning photos and videos of her from a few months back, that made it obvious she was working on her weight, for whatever reason. She was still well rounded but not as heavy as she had been, and was wearing more form-fitting clothes.

Also though - one of the things that makes her so beautiful to me is that she took a step back from singing and public life to focus on family, that puts her pretty high on my list of beautiful people, no matter what she looks like.

If the only options were to be the size of Adele with her talents and the money, critical acclaim and international success that goes with it or, conversely, some super-skinny, perpetually self-starved waif with jack in life, then gimme the former, please! Yeah, I know there are a multitude of options in between but just humour me on that.

I don't doubt for a second that Adele has ever had problems attracting guys, regardless of her size...

Adele is fat, overweight whatever...Regardless, she is pretty...these are NOT mutually exclusive...Karl Lagerfeld looks like a mummy and he should shut his trap as he used to be a fatty too..the idiot
