| | | Crisis in Gaza
I am really sorry to share such a horrific video, but I think it is important that everyone on this planet realises what is going on in the largest open air prison in the world in Palestine. It is not a war where you can say ‘both sides’ are wrong or ‘both sides’ are equally to blame. It is a butchering, a racial cleansing of people by another group of people that see them as objects and not live human beings .
Video (19:00), not for the faint-hearted: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=506195522739165 | | The following 3 users would like to thank M. Ploymi for this useful post: | | | The following 3 users groan at M. Ploymi for this post: | |

Is this a war? I see no soldiers. Only medical men, firemen, civilians - women and children. And babies.

Apologies to ALL for being too quick to select a forum topic - as I implied, the mods should rectify this, so maybe we can redirect our focus to the subject matter here?

I`m ignorant about international conventions and such, but surely a people cannot be butchered without some sort of United Nations intervention?
Was nothing learned from the last wars?
Where is America when they could be doing something useful at last?
Where there really is a need for some armed intervention to protect citizens?

SC | | | | | True, just looked into that as well. | Quote: | | | | | Realy? So I'm getting all upset over something from the past? | | | | | On the contrary, although the images take place in 08/09, they are vividly indicative of recent events and can be quite eye-opening (as it was for me, although largely due to my ignorance in the past, I admit).

The first clip of the F-16 is edited in. No airplane is going to drop ordnance in that attitude or height.

I think the video is for the "Cast Lead" offensive on Gaza in 2008, but probably what is happening now in Gaza is not of great difference, same butchering same civilian deaths.
Maybe this time Israel is just not using white phosphorus bombs to burn people alive as they did in 2008.

As the op mentioned they are not objects they are human beings, even if it is years old it still is valid.

Nice, Propaganda at it's finest, the Kassam's are so inaccurate that if it was not for gravity the damn things would not even hit the ground. But If you fire them from the middle of inhabited areas you are actually using the non combatants as a weapon far more deadly than mere rockets, you quickly get world opinion on your side when your enemy creams your firing positions.
With You-tube and twitter you have a very effective delivery system for weaponized pictures of lumps of meat.

Somebody should be sending this video to Iran?

Where is America when they could be doing something useful at last?
Where there really is a need for some armed intervention to protect citizens? | | | | | >A people cannot be butchered, no, but this isnt a case of the IDF invading and killing everybody in one go. They've dragged it out for close to 40 years, and are slowly making it worse and worse. As a result, it isnt considered Genocide. The fact that it is, is irrelevant.
>Not really, no. The UN has passed resolution after resolution, but Israel has ignored them, and been allowed to do so, since they are allied to that great bastion of goodwill and peace, the US.
>America is on Israel's side. Where do you think Israel get their weapons?
>Armed Intervention by who? The UN? the US would never allow it. The arab countries? They have plenty to do themselves. And to have an armed conflict would mean going to war with the US, something no one can afford.
It genuinely pains me to say this, but Israel will get away with Genocide, because the US will allow it to. Palestinian blood is cheap, these days.
