| | | Good news! He might be coming back....
We all have our own opinions, but I am hoping Belusconi gets back in the saddle, and brings some colour to European politics. I feel sorry for Italians though, as they will once again have to pay the price. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-20652645 | | The following 2 users would like to thank Sbrinz for this useful post: | | | This user groans at Sbrinz for this post:

Well I find it pathetic and 'drivel' to hope that a man who made a lot of people's lives a misery, back into power (for mere entertainment value) while saying he feels sorrow for the Italian population... It doesn't make sense to me.
I'll create a new context for you as I see it... Something like... Oh that teacher was a right laugh, I hope the school takes him back... Oh I do feel sorry for the girls he'll touch up though..
Sorry I thought that was obvious.

I don't think the return of Berlusconi would be a good thing for the Italian people either.

A little back ground information:
On this forum I published a photo of Sapin's big bum, she insisted I remove it, and she hasn't forgiven me.
Sapin is on my ignore list, so I only see her replies when you quote her.

Totally out of order Sbrinz - I am so disappointed you stoop down that low - that bum was not hers at all anyway - Sapin didn't want a picture of her young daughter on the net.
Her comment has absolutely nothing to do with this - but the fact that Berlusconi is a farce, a fraud, a tw*t and an abuser - and the very last thing Italy needs, especially its young women | | The following 3 users would like to thank Odile for this useful post:

I'm sorry Sbrinz, but the 'big bum' of which you quote was not actually mine, it was of my friend... Who does not have a big bum anyway, but more importantly is a fantastic mummy and truly kind person.
Shame on you for bringing this up and trying to make women feel insecure about their bodies.
Some of your posts I find very informative and I thank you for reposting many news stories for us to follow.
But disregarding the size of anyone's behind, this is rather unnecessary defensiveness which has nothing to do with me giving my own opinion.

I have to agree with the ladies on this one. I have no idea of the background story but that was a bloody weird post.

To those who don't understand the notion if my response regarding Berlusconi, Odile is spot on.
He is a dangerous man, and claiming that he 'feels a duty to his country' as an attempt to get back to power is a scary thought. This guy changes laws to suit himself (which of course is not unusual) but this man is nothing but disgraceful, selfish and perverse who will go on to dissolve the laws which punished him for his wrong-doings, so he can get away with even worse.
If you need this for entertainment in your life, I can suggest a Migros evening course to get out more.

I think you are exaggerating by far.
I'm aware of the fact that Berlusconi is no saint (and I'm sure nobody had ever given his vote for believing so), but it is fairly untrue that he would have ruined the country, nor would he have abolished freedom of speech or free media.
As long as it is +- in an acceptable legal form, I don't care in the slightest what he does in his private life,
and he's right in some of his political positions (nevertheless I wouldn't have ever voted for him), and some things he did better than Monti (for whom btw I have a high esteem) does now.
Berlusconi was elected democratically, and if he were re-elected, it would be again inside legal institutions.

You cant barely image what this means for Italians... this is such a shame for us, we are trying so hard to get back to "normal" after almost 20 years of Berlusconi and now... we have him back again!
Reading the newspapers is not like living in Italy or being Italians, I am sorry but nobody except us can really understand our frustration.
I know, Italians voted for him and it was the biggest mistake ever but I hope we do not make it again otherwise Italy will be the "new Greece"... maybe worse.
