Perfectly logical explanation from KFC.. but clearly not good enough for the young gentleman???
At KFC, we are committed to poultry welfare and we use only reputable suppliers, that are the same as the UK's leading supermarkets and restaurants, which meet or exceed UK and EU regulations on quality and welfare."
Regardless of his opinions (and any 16 year old who spends £600 on a custom-made chicken costume is obviously nuts) he should be allowed to make his protest without being thumped or pushed over.
Of course, we only have his word for it, and his track record including 'awards from PETA' might suggest that simply standing there in silence was not all he was doing. It might not, but I'm damned if I'd take his word for it without any supporting evidence.

Not really. Nothing to do with them, after all, and presumably not on their premises.

Olly, from Westwood, Wiltshire, was given money from relatives after doing well in his GCSEs and used it to buy a £600 chicken suit, which was handmade in Paris.
Surely the parents have to take some responsibility for this. If you raise a child to do well in his education and then buy a bespoke £600 chicken suit with the reward money, then you are clearly doing something epically wrong.
