The adverts for Pepperoni sausages in individual wraps in the UK says 'it's a bit of an animal' and the question always comes to mind -which bit of which animal?
it could be a qoute from Baldrick in Blackadder

Re: British horsemeat scandal - Focus remains unfocussed

In the course of analysing meat pies to see if any undeclared horsemeat was mixed in it was found that the meat pie not only didn't have any horsemeat but also no other meat:

A very detailed, very good documentary on Arte right now, also related with this scandal.

Wege des Fleisches

Only for those who seek out the truth and want to know what they eat.... Turned out the main suspect in this scandal was the least guilty. (actually shortly mentioned)

Btw, had no idea that the Irish, Brits had so many horses...as pets. And gave up on them during the crisis.

(sorry, can't say I don't have any satisfaction)

I am always amused when people quote "Schweizer Qualitat". There have been a number of major "meat" scandals.
The people who wave the "Schweizer Qualitat" continued to eat the false rubbish that was being sold without apparently noticing the missing "Schweizer Qualitat" - not to mention the supermarket scandal (was it Coop?) who were opening out of date prepacked meats and selling the contents as fresh meat; also nobody noticed
