| | | Bush is a hypocrite!
He is touring the Middle East to promote peace, including visiting Israel and Palestine, to tell the these countries to stop war and find peace.
But this is the President who's administration themselves waged a war against a middle eastern country - Iraq!!!
It sickens me that media don't point out the blatant hypocrisy of this BS propaganda! Its nothing more than a public relations stunt, the republicans want to soften Bushes image to make him look like a good person that supports peace.
Let's not forget, that it was his administration that waged war with Iraq, a war that was based on lies, false intelligence, and the deliberate ignorance of good (correct) intelligence. There was never any weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, and Saddam was not involved with Al-Qaeda. The war was all about oil and government contracts, and the bush administration pulled a lot of money out of American health and education to fund and support the war in Iraq. The war in Iraq has cost the lives of almost 3000 Americans, and an estimated 85000 Iraqi civilians, and has left the country in a far worse state than it ever was under the rule of Saddam.
Bushes talk of peace in the middle east is all just hot air, nothing more than a public relations stunt that the media laps up like an obedient dog. Even if Israel and Palestine did find peace, the Palestinian people will still suffer under unfair trade sanctions, continued Israeli occupation, and continued expansion of illegal Israeli settlements on Palestinian land.

Cannot stand Bush! From the moment he started smirking during his presidential debates in 2000 I knew he could not be trusted. I am an American and very proud I am now living here in Switzerland just to get away from all the mess he has caused our country.

What was Clinton trying to do in his last year in office?
Ah, the world spins.
I heard he's going to move on to getting dwarf-throwing outlawed in the US before he leaves office |

I don't like the guy either. Although to be honest, it's not a public relations stunt. He can't run for president for the next term by law. And trust me, he won't be voted into a term EVER again.
That said. I think the reason he is talking with Iran is because of the the 5 speedboat and US military ships incident last week. He probably feels his oil interests are being threatened.
Bush has done 1 good thing. He's been such a bad president, that for the the interest in this presidential election is the highest in history. Millions of additional people have registered to vote. Even I have arranged for an absentee ballot in CH.

actually, although Dubya does appear to be vertically-challenged, the internet suggests he's actually not - www.doctorzebra.com/prez/t43.htm
so - do we associate dumb people with dwarves? I would not say deliberately that I have but I always regarded Bush as a bit of a Ftumsch |

Then again there's no oil there.
I see the media coverage on the subject has dried up aswell. |

Never ceases to amaze me that all these characters are making money out of old rope - and yet the countries they "run" - the average middle class is being reduced to the lower class, and the lower classes are staying put. Result, a ruling class of idiots and everyone else. Blair and Bush - two term each, and look at their bleak record. You have to feel very sad for the state of the world thanks to such people.

Can you explain to those of us who don't have a sight into the future why this would occur or are you just talking pants? On average, there are 200 Katjushas per day fired from the Gaza Strip into Israel proper. Would they continue if the two nations found peace? Not wanting to get into a 'Palestine' discussion, but really... | | This user would like to thank Uncle Max for this useful post: | |
