- recent unprecedented levels of immigration that voters perceive to be a threat to their jobs and quality of life.
Of course it's only a (false) perception. Who are these silly people that think mass immigration leads to housing shortages, more road congestion, higher rates of crime and welfare dependency? Ah, voters are so unreasonable!

More dangerous than Istanbul?

Must be the other 60% causing all the trouble, then.

True. Especially if the meat wasn't hallal.

That had nothing to do with it, as I recall. The French love burning things and creating mayhem. It's in their blood.

Aha, so the war going on in Syria is held between two subgroups of French people? Interesting...

The level of hypocrisy in our current society is outstanding.
If Farage had said the same thing about Romanians, or Marine le Pen about Muslims, then both of them would have been accused of "xenophobia", "fascist views", and then the mainstream media would have cried foul and immediately demand severe sanctions.

There's a bit of a difference between some random bloke on the internet and Mr Farage or Mrs le Pen. Can you tell what it is?

Can you imagine minaret type referendums in the UK? Yikes.
Double yikes, common-sense seems to scare some people.
Triple yikes when Sharia will become law of the land in the UK. I imagine folks like you, pro-Muslim, will be celebrating then.

It's pretty clear that most europeans don't like Islam. And for good reason. Get over it.

You clame to know French society well? Then you should know that the % of French wishing the UK citizens vote yes to the "do you want to leave EU" referendum promised by Cameron is far higher than 74.

Perhaps you need to do a bit more study about Islam. There are almost as many ways to be a Muslim as there are of being a Christian. The problem many see about Islam is that it is often mis-interpreted and distorted, for all the wrong reasons, sadly. Pick your fights carefully.

They've also made plenty of friends recently.

A tree is known by its fruit; a man by his deeds, dear.
The fruits of the Muslim world speak for themselves.

So back to UKIP, did anyone here vote for them?
Rhetorical question...

So what? I don't like Islam either.

Nor do I like UKIP.

People still have a right to support or believe in them, though.

And Hegel disagreed with Kant.
Kant's moral philosophy is nothing but empty formalism.

I wonder how Kant would feel if he knew his views were used to defend a religion that is indefensible.
