Quite strange; I was just watching an interview where some English people were going to vote and telling the reporter that they will vote yes.
I find this quite Kafkaesque.
doesn't that mean they are voting to make it more difficult to stay there? thats wierd.

Commonwealth citizens can also vote in the election.

And why not? Maybe the English person has been living in Scotland for 20 years and it's their adopted home. Why shouldn't they have a say in the country's future?

In a weird way, it makes total sense for English people with little connection to Scotland, other than living there, to vote YES.

If independence is a disaster, they can move daan saaf back home and if it is a success, they reap the benefits of living and working there.

I'd assume any Brit living in Scotland would be entitled to a Scottish passport?

What about all the Pakistanis who vote Yes and live in Scotland?

Oh you mean there are unanswered questions that make a yes vote impossible for any sane person?

Re: Voting for Scottish Independence?

I see the Tories are now refusing to honour the pledge David Cameron made to give Scotland more power in the event of a "no" vote.

And you wonder why we want to govern ourselves?

If the Yes vote succeeds, is Salman Rushie going to pen a book, "Midnight's Bairns"?

I am shocked...the BBC not reporting something helpful to the YES campaign.

Even the Guardian is running it!

So....you don't have a link?

All I can see is some tory MPs voicing concerns about how fair devo max is.

I'm on my phone, guardian front page.

Yes, there is an uprising inside the Tory party which will only grow. Cameron promised something he doesn't have the competence to deliver, out of desperation.

Logically true, as I wrote about 5 posts ago.

I guess DC probably doesn't want to go down in history as the PM who broke the union though.
