Death of Osama bin Laden

Three years have passed since operation Neptune Spear which killed Osama bin Laden in his bedroom in Pakistan on May 2, 2011, shortly after 1:00 am PKT.

There have been many movies and documentaries released in these three years, however, last night Fox News presented the man "who shot the devil" and offered him the opportunity to present his life story and exactly how the events unfolded from his perspective. His name is Navy SEAL Robert O'Neill from Montana USA and he is not compensated for this special presentation.

Robert came face to face with Osama and the encounter lasted a few seconds. 3 shots to the face. DNA was collected, the body loaded into one helicopter and the DNA into the other helicopter. They set their watched so 90 minutes and when the alarm sounded they knew they made it out alive, from a mission where the members believed that it was a one way mission into a trap house with suicide vest terrorists.

The video is broken into several parts because it only aired last night and the full video is not yet available online. Here are the parts:

Osama bin Laden dead: code name Geronimo

The code name Geronimo had apparently been chosen for bin Laden because, like the Native American chief, he had managed to evade capture for years and was apparently able to vanish into thin air.

In Geronimo's case his ability to stay on the run gave rise to legends that he was able to walk without leaving any tracks, and that he could survive being shot.

More than a century before bin Laden escaped from the caves of Tora Bora, Geronimo was said to have pulled off a similar evasion in New Mexico.

He and his followers entered a cave which was said to have only one visible entrance, and then disappeared as US troops waited at the front.

More than 5,000 soldiers were used to hunt Geronimo and a small band of followers. Unlike bin Laden he eventually surrendered in 1886.

He went on to embrace Christianity and to become a celebrity, appearing at the World's Fair in St Louis in 1904, and at the inaugural parade for President Theodore Roosevelt the following year.

Not interested.

For every despot dispatched, two more will follow, behind.

I'm already looking forward to your Hitler and Saddam threads.

I agree. However on that same note you should stop cleaning yourself and your house because for every particle of dust 10 more will follow.

Its important to be active. especially when your way of life and your well being is attacked

In the words of G W Bush:
Freedom, itself, was attacked this morning by a faceless coward, and freedom will be defended ... Make no mistake- The United States will hunt down and punish those responsible for these cowardly acts.

In what way, exactly, is our way of life and our well-being attacked?

Yeah, if I remember that right, Dubbya did a great job. Thanks for quoting him. I needed that laugh.

Re: Death of Osama bin Laden

Then again, he might just be making a name for himself without actually being the guy who did it.

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-29945568

"Darkness and close quarters inside the compound have made some Navy Seals question whether it is possible to determine whose bullets killed the al-Qaeda leader."

I doubt anyone knows for sure.

I believe this guy Rob O'Neill breaks the code of silence of the honorable Navy Seals for his own benefit. I wonder how much he got paid for this?

He's no more a Seal. And bigfujitsu has a lot of free time (says me enviously).

Of course not. He died of dysentery at Tora Bora after eating rotten rat meat. And Apollo 11 was staged in a movie studio, HIV was produced in a lab in the USA, vaccines cause autism, and don't get me going on chemtrails.

Didn't Fox News sponsor the hit in the first place?

Anyone who ever quotes Fox News should be ignored for the rest of their natural born life. I even check with NFL.com when Fox are covering a football game, because you never know which agenda they're supporting that particular day.

Re: Death of Osama bin Laden

A new version of Osama bin Laden's death after an investigation by Seymour Hersh (Pulitzer Prize winner). Main points:
- Bin Laden was prisoner of Pakistani Intelligence service
- Pakistani intelligence agent gave hint to US in exchange of 25million$
- body parts tossed over the mountains....no sea burrial ritual
- CIA propaganda wanted everyone to believe that the finding of Bin laden was possible after a prisoner spoke and gave information (can imagine why they wanted to bring credibility to torture practice).
