Whenever Al-JAMA'AT is female, I would rather put it as
ma'a salaam ya jama'a

Sure, what's the topic now, and what was the point? So many thrown about in all kinds of directions.

Yes, the situation of Palestinians in the area is awful. I wish it could be resolved. Although, I don't believe it is solely Israel's doing, nor is the solution solely Israel's prerogative. It doesn't quite help when they are misgoverned by people motivated by rage and vengeance. It causes Israel to take on a very defensive posture. Its a hard sell to ask them to let their guard down.

Is that on topic?
An American court today fined the PLO and the Palestine Authority over $200M for terrorist attacks in Israel that harmed Americans in 2002 to 2004.

How this will be enforced I do not know?

I was wondering about that as well. I'm not sure the money is even the point. I think they pushed the case through to make a statement.

In regards to allegations of Israel committing "Illegalities"; Exhibit A) They have been proven to commit acts of terror, so Israel's actions can rationally be explained as self-defense. Exhibit B) There isn't a real country there, so how does International law apply?

I expect the PA and the PLO have offices and assets in the US.

Edit: more detail here. http://www.nytimes.com/2015/02/24/ny...=fb-share&_r=1 This is not a sudden thing, it's been going for a while

Quote:
The Palestinian groups said in a statement that they intended to appeal the verdict, but did not address their willingness or capacity to pay. In at least two previous cases, in which judges entered default judgments against them for more than $100 million, the groups reached confidential settlements, court records show.
...
Lawyers for the plaintiffs said that if the Palestinian groups refused to pay, they were confident that they would be able to seize the groups’ assets, both in the United States and abroad.
...
“Money is oxygen for terrorism,” Kent A. Yalowitz, a lawyer for the families, said in a closing argument on Thursday, adding that the antiterrorism law “hits those who send terrorists where it hurts them most: in the wallet.”
If perhaps you think this is an unjust decision, it's hard to argue with that last point. Someone somewhere pays for the explosives, the vehicles, the transportation.

I have a long salami in my pyjamas.

A classical pickup line. Never fails with the girls.

The BDS campaign is inspired by the economic BDS strategy carried out against white South Africa, which contributed to the end of apartheid there. Was the BDS campaign against apartheid South Africa was also racist? BDS exists to challenge Israeli government practices, and holds it to a benchmark appropriate to what Israel claims to be; a free, fair and equal society. BDS believes, as do millions of jews around the world, that the Israeli government is not judaism. They are two very different things, just like i said in an earlier post. Calling them anti-Semitic is just the laziest, most illogical, and ridiculous opposing argument i can think of. Try harder.

I never suggested Arab states were any better then Israel, i challenged that you cant hold Israel to their benchmark, but that the benchmark has to be the same for all. Something you have conveniently sidestepped. I don't blame you, i imagine you're running out of arguments.

Thanks for modifying my quote, i suppose the original text was not easy for you to challenge.

Personal? Hell yes. Because i don't stereotype, i don't tar all jews with the brush of the Israeli government. Just like your personal hatred, stereotyping, and racism towards all Muslims everywhere.
Extrapolated? yes, using the logic you supplied.
Knowledge as proof? where do i say that?

You asked me to tell you what proof you could provide. You cant provide it, so you resort to distorting what i said, and claiming i offer it as proof when i clearly do not. You are a little fragmented, pashosh. Take a moment to gather yourself.
Bit late but seems to fit
