Re: More pearls of wisdom from the Oracle Palin

Naturally she made no mention of Dick Cheney's old firm Halliburton's role in the oil spill - they were "responsible for the complicated cementing process on the ocean floor" according to
http://www.thestreet.com/story/10749...l-outrage.html

Wait till she finds out Transocean (the rig operator) has its listed offices in Switzerland!

She just won't go away will she?

Todd worked for BP for 18 years and now she decides it might be productive to get her base riled up with some good old Brit-bashing.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worl...sentiment.html
She's a complete loony, and certainly not represntative of anything that I believe America to be about. She appeals to the right wing fringe, which consists of mostly of people that have probably never left the US. Her comments are about as useful as used toilet paper.

Re: More pearls of wisdom from the Oracle Palin

Well, I've read through Mrs Palin's twitter comment at least six times, and I still can't find any 'Brit-bashing':

Quote:
Gulf: learn from Alaska's lesson w/foreign oil co's: don't naively trust- VERIFY. Livelihood affected by spill?Don't sign away remedy rights
Could somebody enlighten me, please?

___________________________________________

Here's her facebook page, with a more detailed account of her views on this matter. Again, I see no 'Brit-bashing'.

Looks to me like there's plenty of 'Palin-bashing' going on, though. Isn't she entitled to an opinion as much as anyone else?

They didn't exactly rush their @rses to sort the Torrey Canyon disaster out...
(at the time, the costliest shipping disaster ever)

It's the 'foreign' bit, DB. In American English this means you. (Although I prefer 'exotic'... )
