Dick Cheney indicted

The depiction of justice shows a blindfolded woman with a scale and a sword.

It's a start.

I would really like to see someone stand trail for Abu Ghraib. It is the most damaging and expensive act throughout the whole "terrorist" war they are waging. Also, the legalities of Guantanamo Bay and international torture-swap service really needs to be tested.

Will the US really be just enough to put a former president, and his whole cadre, on trail? What have they to fear if they are innocent until proven guilty? Why wouldn't anyone want to see this take place?

Funny as in peculiar. There is no mention of the judge of the case. The battle of the moment could be the positioning of a judge who will throw out the case.

Perhaps they should have waited until the next administration and for a new attorney general. If they throw out this case now, I don't think they can file it again later. Double jeopardy. This could be a Rove or Cheney play in itself.

Though I understand misbehaviour in Abu-gharib, Guantanamo,... but I wonder those who complain and shout days and night about it, were where, when psyco. crazy guys like Saddam and his sons were torturing and killing,... millions and all mass graves, genocide aaginst Kurds, Sias, Iranians, Kuwaitis, opposition,....?!
Which one desrved more attention? tell me pls. without getting me wrong.
Unfortunately world was almost silent to massacres happend during late 70s to 90, but huge noise about a few terrorists being misbehaved in a jail.

Well everyone knows those were the bad guys. That's why most of the US did not have qualms about taking him out. You see, we *were* the good guys. Actually, we still are. Good guys don't do such things. We have morals, at least we use to. So I can't wait until we clear out the bad apples and reclaim our seat.

But anyone can stick their head up a donkey's butt and claim the world looks different to them.
