These stories never fail to make me cringe, and to make me angry at the same time.

Will the FAA (but I'm sure there's plenty of the same, worldwide) ever get off whatever joint they're smoking and ground companies like the one described?
To me it's very obvious that deregulation and increased air unsafety are one and the same (I consequently fly very little)....
