First sightings were in Wyoming, and now those critters can be found just about everwhere from coast to coast, which, in this case, doesn't mean between Port Huron and Muskegon.

Haha wow..... I cant believe there are so many Michigan connections - that's awesome. We should all definitely get together sometime in St. Gallen for a few drinks or something? |

Welcome to the Forum. | Quote: | | | | | By the way I wanted to thank some people for their posts but I can't seem to figure out how to do it, | | | | | You know when you went into 'Introductions', just below where you clicked to create this Thread, there's a Thread which says Please read this Information before posting your Thread and if you click on it, you find this title Anatomy of a post: all those buttons and links, explained and if you click on it and read it all, you'll find the information you need - and a lot more.
And don't worry, I think about 1% of the people on here see it!

| | | Re: American in St. Gallen | Quote: | | | | | Yes I think a meet up is in order!!! | | | | | Looks like we stirred up quite a bit indeed, and I'm sure the hard core of us can handle a few non-Michiganders .
Unfortunately you can't count on me. That's not because I'm way too old for this bunch of mostly young folks (I bet I can still outrun most of you), it's just because I'm too far away. Ok, in the USA, my AOH took me on trips of up to five hours (one way) to visit cousins of whom we didn't even know if they were at home. But here you just don't travel 60 miles and back for a glass or two of beer or wine and a nice chat.
However, if you ever decide to found some kind of an Up-Northerners-on-EF or 'Merikins-in-St.-Gallen group, please keep me posted.

Hi All,
I am new in St. Gallen, not an American though..in St. Gallen since a couple of months. I originally come from India, looking to develop social system in the new country!
Did anyone initiate a meetup after all? As you all seem willing, I can create an event on the calendar for mid week, say 27th March around 4.30 pm for a coffee in the afternoon at Starbucks at Marktplatz?
Let me know who is up for it?
