Same question as Lejoker -- whereabouts in MI? I don't want to look nosy, but my OH is a Michigoose too, grew up in Detroit, now living on the pinkie of the mitten when not here in Switzerland.

I'm both American and your age (23 is close enough, I guess), and living in the St. Gallen area. Just moved here about 3 weeks ago. Desperately looking for some English speakers!

Hello everyone!!
I am also American, born and bred midwesterner, Portland transplant, 26 year old living in St. Gallen. It would be really nice to all get together for some sort of social shindig. Let me know if you are up for it. I have a very free schedule and it would be nice to meet some people to kill time with Let me know what you all think.
Have a great weekend!!!

Alynn, Michigan68, you may also want to have a look at this thread to understand lejoker's remark. At first, the thread is more about Minnesota, but then the topic gets shifted by some notorious guys...

Would 5.5 years in Ann Arbor qualify me to join this shin-dig?
I swear I am still in my 20s and I now live in St Gallen.

I swear I am still in my 20s and I now live in St Gallen. | | | | | Hey spinach, so I was right when I asked you on another St. Gallen thread if that "M" shirt in your profile means the UofM in AA. I guess you never saw my post.
Ok, just like me, you're not a real Michigander, and, dog forbid, maybe, unlike me, even your OH (if any) has no roots in MI. Never mind. We all know how to pronounce Michilimackinac, Bois Blanc, Grand Rapids and Sault Sainte Marie, and that's what counts.
Welcome to the gaggle.

A bunch of Michiganders would be a Michigaggle, wouldn't it? Great idea .

Hey! I did reply to you, Captain Greybeard, but rather later than when you asked.
Yes, it's a Michigaggle!
And also, yes, I have many friends but no family in MI. My hubster is from Austria, and has never lived in MI. I still claim it, though!
