Hello World

Hi Guys,

I was just surfing the net to look for more info regarding Switzerland, as shortly i would be moving there, and i found this great forum with some good helpful posts.
I am an Indian currently working as an IT Manager in the UK. I have worked in different geographies around the world (US/UK/Far East etc) I would soon be moving to the French part of Switzerland.

I reckon Lausanne is one of the best spots to live. It's large, quite cosmopolitan, vibrant, not so expensive and has a really nice lake with views across to France. Plus it's close to skiing areas in the Winter and you can pop across the border to save cash on shopping.
