Hi, new to the forum, kinda veteran of Switzerland

Hi,

I've been living in the Lausanne area for 3.5 years. I may be moving soon close to Geneva, and foudn this interesting forum while looking for schools, (we have 2 boys 2 and 4, with one more on the way).

Not too much more except that I play the bass guitar and the drums, and am always on the look for fellow musicians that like to jam.

Cheers,
A

Hi and welcome to the forum.

With your experience of living in Switzerland for some years now, you'll be in a good position to advise others on that, especially those new to or looking to move to where you currently are.

There are several active EFers who are also musicians. Take a look at the Calling all Creatives thread where you will find some of them and who are also interested to jam with others, particularly in some of the more recent postings.

Congrats for the upcoming baby. Wow! Two kiddies already under 5 with another on the way sounds like a lot of hard work but the experience is priceless and obviously well worth it.

Cheers and enjoy the forum.

Hello fellow musician and welcome to the EF! Lausanne is great, though I got spoiled being closer to GE, having all sorts of fun, gigs, airport, libraries accessible. Let me know if you want to venture out with kids and talk muzzak, we are 2 musicians and have a 4yr old.
